Intern Application Process
Program Description
The intern will be exposed to field work in the supervision of offenders
and presentence
investigation work. This program will provide a unique opportunity for
the student to participate
in a work environment which will provide exposure to the administration
of the U.S. District Court,
various federal and state law enforcement agencies, the U.S. Attorney's
Office, Federal Defenders,
private law firms, correctional facilities, and numerous community service
agencies.
Who should apply?
Junior, Senior or Master Level Criminal Justice majors and other majors
where the student is
sincerely interested in the correctional field and who has completed
courses in corrections.
The internship must be completed prior to graduation.
